Typeform put Chargebee at the center of its billing infrastructure. Subscription, billing, and invoicing data now lives in one system and flows outward to the tools that depend on it. Native integrations that Chargebee builds and maintains connect it to NetSuite for accounting, Salesforce for CRM, Stripe and PayPal for payments, and Avalara for tax. Zapier handles operations connections, and RevenueStory covers analytics.
Because Chargebee maintains those integrations, Typeform's team no longer builds or supports custom connections between billing and each downstream system. That removed the intermediary software that used to sit between tools and reconcile their data by hand. It also let Chargebee's feature depth absorb functions that previously required separate vendors.
"One of the benefits of working with Chargebee is that it's a very feature-rich, highly capable platform. It's capable of doing lots of things that in the past we needed more vendors for, so we've been able to reduce from 10 to around five vendors."
That same feature depth let Typeform meet enterprise requirements from the platform it already uses for self-serve customers. Regional invoicing formats, multi-currency billing, and multiple payment options all run through Chargebee. Typeform can support both its tiered self-serve plans and its custom Enterprise contracts without adding a specialized tool for each requirement.
The connected layer also changed how teams share information. Chargebee sits between Salesforce and NetSuite, so one set of revenue data reaches sales, marketing, customer care, revenue, accounting, and controlling teams at once.
"The high integrability of Chargebee allows us to use Chargebee integrated with other key tools in our tech stack, such as NetSuite or Salesforce. Everybody is looking at the same data, and it unifies and helps us make the best decisions going forward."
Without native, vendor-maintained integrations, Typeform would have kept building and supporting those connections itself. It would also have kept paying for and maintaining the overlapping tools that consolidation later removed.
We've streamlined our processes thanks to Chargebee's richness and versatility, reducing our vendor count from 10 to around five. Additionally, improved integrations and automation have simplified tasks, eliminating the need for intermediary software. This allows seamless communication between our systems and Chargebee without the necessity for additional vendors.
